We request you to educate and assist your child with the following set of instructions for mask usage and disposal. 

Procedure for wearing a triple layer mask: 

• Wash hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water before putting on the mask. 
• Place the mask over nose, mouth and chin. 
• Adjust to fit. 
• Avoid touching the mask while in use. 
• Change the mask after 6 hours or as soon as they become wet.
• While removing the mask great care must be taken not to touch the potentially contaminated outer layer of the mask.
• Should be washed after every use and must be left to hang dry and air dry under the sunlight.  
• No sharing of masks, a mask must be used by one individual. Each member in a family should have a separate mask. 
• After removal or whenever you inadvertently touch a used mask, clean hands using an alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

WEAR A MASK  

• When you are around other people, as a precautionary measure during community visits. 
• Before you enter a health care provider’s clinic or hospital. 
• If a sick person is unable to wear it, then other family members should wear it when they enter the sick person’s room. 

How to clean and sanitize your mask

• Wash with soap and warm water thoroughly and hang dry it in air and sunlight.
• Used masks should be washed and dried properly before they are reused. 

These masks are not suitable for: 

• Kids below the age of 2 years. 
• Health workers 
• Those working with or in contact with Covid-19 patients.
• Patients of Covid-19 themselves. 
• For kids suffering from any medical conditions or having breathing difficulties.
