The Giant panda commonly called “panda” is a native to China. These big black and white bears are an endangered species. Its striking coat of black and white, combined with a bulky body and a round face, gives it a captivating appearance that has endeared it to people worldwide. Unfortunately only an estimated 1000 remain in the wild. We need to do all we can to protect them.
Our print features the most beloved pandas and the bamboo which constitutes for 99% of its diet.
In the first year of life there are limitations in babies' vision and they respond well to simple, bold patterns with high contrast. This supports their visual development, and encourages babies to explore the different patterns and textures, giving a multi-sensory experience to young explorers. Strong black and white patterns help babies to develop their ability to focus their attention and levels of concentrations. High contrast resources stimulate the development of the optic nerves and encourage cognitive development without over-stimulating them.
