Neem is considered auspicious and held in high esteem in many traditions. It is a sign of protection and well being for the mother and the baby. Neem is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and is rich in antioxidants. Pregnant women in most communities are made to wear "Veppilai Chool Kaapu (bangles made out of neem twigs)" during their Baby Shower. It is believed to ward of evil eyes and keep the expectant mother and the baby in her womb protected.
These wooden bangles are designed in a way that, it can be worn throughout pregnancy and postpartum as well.

Usage Instructions:
Neem Bangles can be worn throughout the day.
Avoid prolonged exposure to or soaking in water.
If required it can be washed in warm or turmeric water, let it dry off completely before use.
Wooden bangles are prone to slit due to prolonged usage, in that case, please season it with neem oil or beeswax.
